Background & Experience

Aaren Lane Gibson earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.  While there, she was a Notes and Articles Editor on the Georgetown Journal of International Law, and on the Academic Committee of the Black Law Students Association.  After graduation, she worked for Joseph and Mische, P.C., where she practiced family law exclusively until opening her own practice in 2011.

Prior to law school, Aaren earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College in 2001.  She majored in Politics as well as Law and Society, with minors in Economics and English.  She earned the Jerome Davis Research Award while there.

Aaren continues to practice exclusively in the area of family law, dealing with matters ranging from divorce and equitable distribution, to pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and all matters relating to children, including custody, support and visitation.
